    OTRA - Fallon, NV

Just updating the trip, some like it, some don't so the "like its" win, heheh,
Buggy ride with a fellow Diver, now stationed in Fallon, NV. First "Boonie" campout with the rig. Did fine as expected. A fun several days of riding, hit snow. Nice campsite right on a river.

    Blog here

(can't show images here, between FB and Google, they've changed the URL Image addresses, so unable to post the image link, PITA they are becoming)

Cross trails? Absolutely. With that nose art, no way any of us could miss your rig. We'll have to arrange a meet-up and party down.

AND NOW YOU HAVE NO EXCUSE FOR COMING TO THE NEXT CICO, WILL YOU FRANK?

See ya on the road and...

Heheh, thanks Sue, Yep, might be doable, we'll see, it's sorta one week at a time for now, but it would be nice to get back there... I still have to try out the "Fire Fly" lights... that had me chasing the little "Buggars" for a few minutes trying to catch one, only to find out, discover?, that it was a laser light...

So, I caught'em... just need to plug them in...
... and Michael? Caravan? heheh... and Western Peeps??

    fun...

I don't know about CICO but would consider the CI NWRU if you go too Frank (don't wanna be the odd duck out!) in the mean time the Dizzy crew is enjoying the late fall in the SoCal dessert valleys.

Hey we're both in the Great South West, maybe our paths will cross this winter.

Frank, it's so great to see you back out on the adventure road again! Love seeing the photos & your new rig looks great! It brings back fond memories for me. When I was in elementary/middle school, my grandparents had a Ford pickup/truck camper combo that they went to Alaska in for months at a time (3 different trips). I loved seeing their photos & the things they brought back for me and it's been on my dream/bucket list to go ever since! Only difference, we are planning to go with our CI 560.....once hubby a) Can figure out a way to get away from work for a few months; OR b) He retires.

Thanks Casandra, hopefully 'Hubby' can retire so you can get out there while you can.

Camper is working out well, small enough to get around and 4-seasoned for colder weather.
Currently here in Quartzsite, AZ it's running in the 80's an pushing 90 tomorrow.... dry heat, so not bad at all..

(bummer, can't post photos anymore as Google/FB have changed their format, no xxxx.jpg at then end...)

Alaska is definitely on the trip list... just a matter of when.
