500th Camp-Inn Built

Sure! You can live in the #500. Jenn and Bear live in theirs and have a wonderful time of it. And think of all the benefits: no law to mow, no roof to patch (which we just did-yuck), NO PROPERTY TAX!

It's a win-win scenario!

Ya know ya want it, George.

"Wondering if the 560 would tow as nicely as the 550 though."

Julie,
Benn and Marybeth tow with a 2008 Jeep Wrangler. They seemed very happy with it when they "hosted" our CI visit to check out their 560.

When we ordered our Raindrop (#460) we requested a stereo be installed with inside and outside speakers. Craig and Cary took this as a challenge and did a superb job of it. The outside speakers have beautiful wood covers over them that are both "retro" and unique. To see what they look like look at the ones on #500. Cary, having paid for the "development" costs for these covers will we be getting annual royalties or a lump sum? Actually Cary said we got charged only a portion of what the actually cost in terms of design, material and installation costs. We always get comments about them. Thank you Craig, thank you Cary,

Jim,

Actually, you should be proud. Alot of what we learned doing your stereo went into this one. As well as many other people's units. The speaker setup we put in yours impressed us so much it has been the one we recommend to people who ask us to do similar installations on theirs. Glad to see you picked up on that.

Cary,

Can the speaker setup be retrofitted or is it for new installations only? We're looking at speaker options but would like to keep the CI custom built look.

Time for the next installment....

Inlaid wood on the kitchen cabinets...

Behind the 19" TV is the AM/FM/Weather Band radio with DVD/CD/MP3/Ipod player.....Oh yeah, the switch in the upper right corner of the cabinet is for the power antenna.....

That's all for now....

WOW! I LOVE the radio set up behind the TV! Really helpful to have that weather radio when you're camping. Being a former full time RV'er we relied on it quite a lot. Can this be put in at the factory on our unit Cary? Is the picture a cover over the AC? Does the AC blow through it?

I am really impressed. Beautiful craftmanship. I'm sure I'm not the only one with a unit in production who would like to know which (if any) of the "options" can be ordered on our units. And additional cost, hit to production schedule, etc.
In the picture of the radio it looks like the tv folds down. Does it slide back or hang out and away from the cabinet?

Love the waterfall cabinets.

Jim says you should have a raffle like the luxury house charity things. We all buy tickets, you can raffle it off at CICO and the lucky winner will go home a very happy camper (Jim's words, not mine).

Of course, that would mean we would all have to show up with extra tow vehicles... Jim has his eye on a cute little convertible.

A tour of #500 was included in my trailer orientation and factory tour this week. It's gorgeous! It reminds me of the classic cars of the 30's; Duesenbergs, Auburns, Packards and such. The woodwork is just beautiful. The electronics are over the top. Our ten year old has started saving his money for a trailer of this level. He's been sworn to secrecy on this one's special features, so don't try to get anything out of him.
