500th Camp-Inn Built

So he is ready to spill the beans? I'm sure we could gather quite a few donations from the crowd on the forum!

Jim and Sue

Sorry Sue I can't be party to the guise, I am saving all my shekels too.

He's hanging tough. He's not going to break a promise with Cary & Craig. I don't think they'll build him a trailer if he folds.

I too enjoyed the tour of #500 last week. We just finished night #3 in 0518, and really are enjoying her. Now would I bid on 0500? Yes. Could I fit 2 campers in my garage? Not without winning the lottery. :-) I just got to say "shiney". Whoever, ends up with 500 will be a lucky and envied person.

Thank you for all the kind words about #500! :)

As I previously mentioned, what things will become options or retrofits from #500 have yet to be determined. This was done to be a "one of a kind" teardrop. Some things are way too labor intensive/cost prohibitive to become an option, which means Craig would not do them again.

What will become options will be announced for the 2013 models & will change over with the November 1, 2012 pricing. So, until then, keep enjoying what you see! ;)

Hey!!! That was Jim on the line, not me!

Of course, I'm not above a little baksheesh...

Sue (not Jim-but he is sitting right next to me).

Jim says, "He can go ahead and tell me. I can keep a secret. I wouldn't tell Cary or Craig."

Yeah, right.

Betsey, for the right price Craig could do any and all of those options again. :)

WOW! I LOVE the radio set up behind the TV! Can this be put in at the factory on our unit Cary?

Don't know yet if it will be an option or a retrofit...see my previous post on this...if it were to be possible, it would not be available prior to Nov. 1, 2012.

Is the picture a cover over the AC?

Yes.

ladymc said:
Does the AC blow through it?

No, it must be removed prior to using the AC.

In the picture of the radio it looks like the tv folds down. Does it slide back or hang out and away from the cabinet?
Mike

All of the newer TVs fold down. This one is a larger screen - 19". Currently, 15" screens are the ones being installed.

Love the waterfall cabinets.

Jim says you should have a raffle like the luxury house charity things. We all buy tickets, you can raffle it off at CICO and the lucky winner will go home a very happy camper (Jim's words, not mine).

Of course, that would mean we would all have to show up with extra tow vehicles... Jim has his eye on a cute little convertible.

Sue and Jim (says)

There have been a lot of ideas tossed around on how it might be sold. Stay tuned & we'll post what it will be when the time comes.

Who ever purchses number 500, will shipping be included?
Hmmm, just wanted to know. Terrible thoughts run thru the gray cells once in a while.

Sure! You can live in the #500. Jenn and Bear live in theirs and have a wonderful time of it. And think of all the benefits: no law to mow, no roof to patch (which we just did-yuck), NO PROPERTY TAX!

It's a win-win scenario!

Ya know ya want it, George.

Sue

I would like to share a thought or two about calling a teardrop (camper) home…

Here is just one perspective, and there are many, that should be considered when deciding to make your camper a home. I for one take it to heart. And I quote: “Remember, you are constantly in the act of creating yourself. You are in every moment deciding who and what you are. You decide this largely through the choices you make regarding who and what you feel passionate about.

Passion is the love of turning being into action. It fuels the engine of creation. It changes concepts to experience. Never deny passion, for that is to deny who you are, and who you truly want to be.” ~NDW

When I set out on this Odyssey it took root in the form of a dream and it grew and blossomed into passion…for freedom has a way of doing that to the spirit, and a Camp-Inn teardrop grants one liberties and freedom.

BEAR

Hi Bear,

You always come up with something good and thought provoking.

Still waters....

Chuck and I got a tour of #500 last week when we stopped to pick up our rental 550. It is AWESOME! The extra touches are outstanding. Who ever manages to become the owner will have a masterpiece that they can enjoy and show to everyone.

Thanks, Cary for the sneak peek!

This question goes out to Cary and Craig...Barb states: "Who ever manages to become the owner..." Is that to imply #500 is available for purchase? If so, let's talk!

As I mentioned above, when the time is right, we will post how it is to be sold...until then, let your imaginations run wild, as our lips are sealed.

Ok, we've been out of town for a while. I'm hoping to see some full shot photos of the #500.

Bear wants to see some, don't you, Bear?

Sue

When the photo shoot for #500 is done (and it hasn't even happened yet), we will post pics on here. :)

Until then...let your imagination run wild! :o

Betsey,
We'll be watching this spot closely for those images. I'd just like to again say how much I appreciate the people at CampInn - your committment to quality and innovation is 2nd to none. Hopefully you don't tire of hearing that said, because when those pics go up I'm sure others here will be letting you know about the great job the entire CampInn crew has done!
