Anyone tow with a Land Cruiser like the new one?
Any early learnings, towing observations, tips?

Thats a fine vehicle too. For anyone who is into accessorizing their vehicle for more off-roadish capability, the RAV4 is second only to Subaru who has been doing kewl stuff with LP Adventure...bumper light mounts, bambi bars, skid plates etc (@Jenn ) to replace the fragile plastic dust covers...The 26 Rav4 has doubled its towing capacity from 1750 to 3500. Will be seriously looking at it once in the show room.
17 gal? I'm at 14 in Alltrack with same mog fulky losded towing, so ya I'f like more too.We own a 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser (“Elsie”) and prior to buying #1010, we rented a couple of other bigger travel trailers (Rpod and a Jayco - Sorry….I can’t recall the weight of these) and it towed just fine. But with our 560 we can sometimes forget it’s back there.
Mileage on flat interstates is about 20 mpg towing our 560.
Everything on ours is stock. It’s comfortable to travel in but it does have limited storage in driver/passenger area. We love the 2400W inverter. We’re running an Iceco fridge and a EcoFlow in the cargo area from the AC outlet. Makes it all so simple to keep things running and charged.
It does have a small gas tank. Just 17.9 gallons. It says premium fuel is a must. Could be because it’s a turbo. Gets about 22-23 on highway without a trailer attached. I’d say we get 17-18 city. Hp=326… torque is 465.
If you go on the LC forum people will be complaining about gas tank size and need for premium fuel. Many people I’m sure are using regular unleaded but I’m going with premium, at least until the warranty is up.

We’ve had it for a year now and are proud owners. Happy to answer any other questions.
No standard separate cooler that I’m aware of. Have not looked into that but then again, after we ended up on a terribly steep grade, having chosen the wrong road to our destination, and watching the temp gauge shoot up, I’m motivated to do more research…TY. Good info.
I'm assuming automatic trans?
Does yours have a separate trans cooler, or an option to add later?
Transmission Oil Cooler LC250
I am looking at fitting a transmission cooler for my LC250 there is only one I can see here Down Under, are there more options in the US. I have heard reports that the temperature rises quite a bit when towing.www.landcruiserforum.com
Burly!Someone wanted to see our receiver on the LC so am posting pics. I thought the drop was about 3-4 inches but it’s not that much… see attached.
Yup. Courtesy of the seller. The hitch insert we had purchased, for some reason, didn’t play well with the length of the CI safety chains.Burly!
