Storage Interior Storage Cabinets

I lived in >400sf when I lived in Japan and it was plenty. It's ALL about the design.
I agree. Although we have a "normal" size house in Santa Fe, our place in Seattle is 377sf and we are perfectly comfortable there. It took some careful thought, but every square inch is accounted for and used efficiently. We were there for four months this past summer and never felt crowded. We consider it good training for extended trips in our soon-to-be-completed Raindrop.

I agree on the roof rack on car for bicycles and kayaks etc. On the White Mtns trip I put the bicycles on the roof. I track gas mileage and with the bicycles on the roof 2 adults and about 200 pounds of gear – we lost 5 miles per gallon on gas mileage.

There must be an opportunity for a book or media coverage about “full timing”!

I had a driver in New York City explained that he lived in his car. He just arrived in the USA and became a radio car driver (taxi driver who is dispatched by radio). He had a Post office box. Slept in his car on a street where other drivers park when waiting for calls. He dropped his clothes off at the cleaners and had a gym membership where showered and exercised. He was raising money as fast as he could and wanted to eliminate rent to speed up his saving. He was working continuously.
Lots of options are available to choose from.

THANK YOU!

I am getting closer. I am getting great advice and input.
Its coming down to trailer feng shui.

I am trying to coordinate a visit to a 550 owner for a "sit in". That will tell me lots more.

I ruled out the Elkins shelter since it does not roll.

I do not use air conditioning I hope that does not rule out Burning Man visit. I guess I will use a tarp to get out of the sun when I get around to that visit.

Burning man... I've never been myself, but from what I understand there is no shore power, so the air conditioner is moot for that anyway. I suspect the fantastic fan and good shade shelter will be what you'll want (if you attend).

Just a thought about this thread. A long while back when they had just caught the Uni bomber, one of the stories in the media was that he had to be crazy because he lived in a shack that was only 300 square feet, well by that definition all us folks living aboard boats were stark raving lunatics because most of us would love to live in a boat that had 300 square feet of interior space. By the time you fracture in pointy ends, storage space and outside deck area the average affordable 30 something foot boat has only about 200 or so sq. feet of living space. We find that if a space is efficient, well designed and properly proportioned and beautifully made, well crafted, using nice materials(teak and mahogany help) a space can not only be very warm and inviting to live in but a great joy.

I am trying to avoid putting my qi at risk in order to save a few dollars on the custom Luo pan trailer option.

The effort here is to prevent my thoughts from flying out the windows when I am sleeping. Like most campers I prefer they just ricochet around the cabin interior until I wake up and let them out... It’s a vexing problem but am working through it. I have heard tin foil curtains and magnetic window frames help.

In the meantime I am contacting Camp-Inn owners for a “sit in” and will check if they have noticed any problems with thoughts flying out the windows and get advice on where they mounted their Luo pan. Ha ha ha ha ha.

Actually I just want good light, good ventilation and good views of wildlife when I wake up.

Cosmo, Alan here...

One way to keep the thoughts from flying, and possibly colliding, would be to put a large pail over your head at night and tape the bail under your chin. This should keep those thoughts close to the mind and easily retrieved in the morning.

Alan, and the "Pail over the head" trick is a more solid solution than foil too....
To keep the Aliens from Controlling you... seems the edges deflect their Mind Control Ray thingies..
Science is trying to figure it out, but they claim that having the handle under the chin helps secure it...

Foil might fly off...
And then, as you well KNOW, you're Toast... but that's another story...
Pails work great... Galvanized ones... works as a better deflector... but before warned....

The person next to you has to have one on too, or you're just deflecting to them... and they'll turn in half the time. Just think of it as twice the power... sigh, they're trying to work on a better way but for now???
Hey, it's better than foil... and I KNOW from whence I speak....

I just wish I had a pail...
I was lucky..... this time anyway...

Thank you so much. It’s refreshing to finally share the thoughts I have been able to hang on to with other beings who receive the same signals via their dental filings.

Excellent ideas. The colander was only a partial success and it gave my head an interesting suntan.

I am heading out to Home Depot to the chat with a bucket consultants in ½ acre bucket department.

In the meantime my fund raising efforts to pay for the trailer continue.

Thanks I had a good belly laugh.

Now you KNOW if I went out and got a Pail I'd have to put some "Stickers" on it... heheh, I'm getting enough grief on them now, don't need to Add to it.... Or???
do I...

Anyway, working "Nellie's" Decals. one project at a time eh?

Cosmo:
Yeah, be careful of those "Consultants"... Like? How do you KNOW that they're REALLY our consultants??.. I mean REALLY, suggesting a colander?? with Holes in it... Really??

Stick to Buckets.. then you know fer sur...

And fillings?? Our Scientists out witted them on that one... we're using Plastics for Fillings... they kinda slid that in under cover...

Love the foil hat, Frank. It goes with your eyes.

I prefer to twist the foil up on the top. This way you can foil (pun intended) the aliens evil schemes and look like a Hershey kiss at the same time.

Besides, the pail wire can get caught in the bed clothes and throttle you in your sleep. Or one of the decals can slip off and you could aspirate it during a particularly energetic snore. That would look odd in the morning papers: Man chokes on pin-up. Hard to explain that...
