WA - Radio Install

Just added an Auto Radio, Kenwood HD/USB with 2x 4" speakers into the kitchen area. Went to Car Toys, a little pricey on the install, but figure it's a one time deal.
Sort of Room hogging on the inside shelf, but figure I can work around it.
Heheh... still have to receive the Antenna on order to use the Radio, but the USB works great. Didn't need a lot of amp power, not trying to entertain the Camp park, just a 10' area or so.
Taking it out next weekend, but believe it's going to be just fine.

Black wire going up the left side is for the Outside antenna connection. Figure I'll just mount it on the room/hatch out of sight.
Can, of course hear the radio from inside as well.

Jim, now that was a problem... heheh.. went through 3 different antennas before it dawned on me that it wasn't the antenna that was the problem, but the short extension cord they installed from the radio to the outstide kitchen area.

Then antenna I'm going to use is the .
Marine one
Hmm.. can't get the image thing to work, but it's the long white bar one, marine use, but will probably just keep inside underneath the shelves or in the corner at the top.. not sure yet.
Also got one of those TV looking Multi-directional that I'd figure I'd just put outside on the roof behind the hatch..
Will be working with it this weekend on a campout, will post what I find works best.
