Morning Cup Of Coffee And Weather

Been closely watching the weather for Necedah. Looks like it's going to be perfect camping weather so far. That said, after nearly 3 months of 100+ swampy heat here in Texas, I'm going to absolutely freeze in the mid-70's. 50's at night? Taranis, The Popsicle.

Looks like two options the Dirty turtle or the Way Station for the Packers game…

Shipwreck Bay is a good choice too -- they have a large patio, and a really good tavern style pizza. Its one of the places I go whenever I get a chance.

Here is one we enjoyed in Necedah.

Didn't even think of that place! Though its not the typical fish-fry I'm looking for --- I'm looking for the "Stoh's" fish! That means nothing to anyone not from Indiana.

Decades ago this little town (Stroh) had a fish place that just set the standard...they licensed the recipe, to Gropps, Petersons, Pete's, and a few other places. They still exist but are definately not as accessible as they used to be.

This was the all-you-can-eat with a really light breading on a very very mild fish -- not the honkin' pieces of cod. Not that that is bad --- its just a childhood thing I'm craving the older I get.

This one?
Love the name...
70's military reference
from Vietnam,
also The Log magazine at Boat School ran a comic strip called "Bohica Brothers"...in the early seventies.
