Morning Cup Of Coffee And Weather

Its been cool and wet this last week. I run my air conditioner not to make it cooler but to make it dryer in the house.
Nice here today too. 70s and not humid. Can’t get outside to take advantage of it. Having to take a class and have my work turned in by Friday. 2 essays to go and I’m done. Last one I’ll ever take because I’m retiring after next year and my certificate will be good for 5 years.

We're supposed to get some rain - but so far nothing much. There was storms around lsat night, but it wsan't too bad.

Had my first roadside emergency on the way home over the weekend, I"ll be working on a post about that for the camper confessional later...just way too darned much happening right now...crazy week.

Facebook memories from 2016. The day I posted the picture I use here on the forum of the Raven taken at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.

The other pic is not our 560 Ultra. This is at Bryce NP & it was the day we arrived there. These folks weren’t there all day & they came just before sunset. Figured we’d talk to them the next day. They must’ve have left in the middle of the night. Got up to do a sunrise hike and they were gone. Nobody on here ever claimed the camper.

We’ve seen 7 other Camp Inns & 2 were on this trip.

Correction: the raven in my profile is from the Grand Canyon. The one I posted here yesterday is from the same trip, but that one was at Arches. We were at picnic ground and a family at a nearby table decided it was a good idea to feed the raven. Their kids are probably still in therapy 10 years later. Looked like something out of a Hitchcock movie.

We camped at Devil's Garden in Arches in 2024, and were thoroughly warned by the camp host on arrival that the ravens were aggressive around any food left out. Don't leave out one speck.

There was a late arrival at our site who didn't get the message; he lost a couple days of food when he wandered to the restroom leaving his food organization project out on the picnic table. What a mess! There were food wrappers everywhere... I'm glad we weren't there to see it, I can only imagine what it looked like to your neighbor's kids.

It was in the Devil’s Garden Picnic grounds. Nobody got hurt but once the dad offered food to one, then 5-6 more Ravens showed. They were little kids and man they were screaming.

We saw ravens in every park that trip. We joked the one from the Grand Canyon was following us. That was in the picnic area near Cape Royal and the Angel’s Window.
