I lost my drivers license because of an incident with a nun in a crosswalk. The judge let me off easy because I missed most of the children.

Seriously I face your same fears. A lot of you have seen my seven-passenger van. I drive old people to church and doctor visits.

Tomorrow night there is a frost warning and I’ll have to bring my potted plants inside.

I thought you were serious for a moment!!!! I think this all falls into getting used to the new normal --- I know with my 'scare' it took me a while - fortunately it all ended ok. Not as good as it was, but something I can live with -- but then again, what other choice do you have.

Still frosty up there? Yikes - its cold here. I remember in the late 99 through 2001, I can't recall the year, we were listening to the Indianapolis 500 -- which is ran about an hour west of here -- and we watched snow falling. Now, it wasn't a lot --- just little flakes in the air -- but it was enough to say it was in fact...snowing. Of course, the next year it was probably stifling hot with tornado's.

Who's camping this weekend? I'not! I took a weekend 'off' before Memorial Day -- little did I realize it was one of those strange years where Memorial Day is a week early. Oh bother! SO next weekend I've got a 3 day which means I'll at least get to enjoy the beautiful empty park Sunday night crowd before I had home Monday.
 
I haven’t been camping since the last CICO. I live in a very rural area and don’t need to get away from it all. If I leave the property it’s to see civilization! My last use of the 560 was as a kitchen pulling it to Virginia with five other people. It works perfect for road trips where I stay wherever I end up at the end of the day which could be a rest area, truck stop or church parking lot.

No my older Branson 2400H has a front loader. The Kubota 2680 just has the belly mower.

The Kubota does have a three-point mount but currently nothing is attached. The Branson has a back plow. It works great for grading the gravel and pushing snow. I do have to push snow backwards which is a hassle but it does get the job done.

That sounds like it was a great trip! Scandinavia has been on our bucket list for many years and we were lucky enough to put it together now. Your northern lights trip should be incredible!

My Grandad had an American Flyer train set -- I used to love that thing. I can still smell the 'exhuast' from the engine, the smell of carbon brushes, and if I listen hard enough I can hear the horn - which used a small blower over a reed. Sadly, the engine was separated from the cars and track and all of it disappeared. The engine is still in my possession, but it had been dropped and abused so badly for 50 years by the time I acquired it that it is no longer a salvageable toy. I just would look at it, and remember.

I think I had that tractor too :) I also had a big ol' Tonka truck - all steel. Sharp edges and all.

Wow. Absolutely stunning. I wonder if the people in that little village even see the mountains any more? I suspect that you get used to such things as a permanent part of your life... and just stop experiencing that "wow!" sense...
