Itinerary 10th Annual Camp-inn Camp-outt Website Active

Hhmmmm..... Kindergarten is a big thing. Once in a lifetime sort of big thing. For us it was always the kids first and we missed out on a lot of stuff, but as the kids turned out to be very nice adults, I say it was worth it. You are smart, loving parents. You'll make the choice that's right for you.

Sue

Yes, Sarah - I know you will make the right choice... to be there. :) The 11th CICO just doesn't have that same ring.

Joan and Jenn, I will need some caravan buddies for sure if I am going! I really want to be there!

Sarah, just let me know if you work it out. I posted my route and schedule on another thread. Let me know and I will send you my google map with the specifics.

Hope you can make it.

Yippee, hurrah, Bella and I will be arriving Wednesday, leaving Monday.
Registration and purchases worked well. Cheese tasting will be fun!

Whoa... kewl.. so I'm looking at the map and assuming it's the northern section, I see only 98 sites in there? Wondering if we have "Spill Over" rights or if that is booked up too?? Wandering Minds, Wanna Know.. thanks..

We are always in Area A & there is plenty of room. Remember, it is after the park is closed for the season, so we tend to have most of the entire park to ourselves.

Also, these are not your typical campsites with "defined" boundaries...more like one big campsite with numbers scattered about. You will have a set campsite # for registration (because only 1 teardrop is allotted to a site) but often, there may be 3 or so teardrops located on one "site" as they are very large. If you don't need electrical, it's not so critical where you are.

I always send out a map of where we will be, & what sites not to take due to that being where the Big Blue Tarp is set up. Still haven't finalized where that will be, as we are looking at changing the location of it this year. Should have it ready to go within 2 weeks & then it will be posted on the Camp-Outt website.

Betsey,
I can't remember what days I put in for, for coming up. I think I put in for Fri.-Sat. Is it a problem if we come Wed. or Thurs.? Do I need to let you know ahead of time or can we just show up?
Thanks
David Olson

David,

It isn't a problem...come whichever day works for you. It's more important that you registered you are attending. That way, you are added to the list I give to the campground so they know when you check in that you are with our group & get the discounted camping rate.

So on your way in to camp this year I encourage you to bring your pumpkins so that we can eat by candlelight during the potluck.

We've always eaten by candlelight but the pumpkins will add some "ambiance." :)

I spoke with the owner of Lulich Landscaping, located at the corner of Hwy 58 & County G (the road to Juneau County Castle Rock Park) in New Lisbon. They will have pumpkins available for anyone who would like to pick one up there. Their annual pumpkin festival will be the week prior to the Camp-Outt, and they said there should be plenty of pumpkins still available the weekend of the Camp-Outt.

We don't have many youngins attending the Camp-Outt but we do have many young-at-heart attendees, so anyone who would like to join in the Lighting of the Pumpkins is welcome!

Looking forward to seeing you again, Bear! :)

The cico gathering this year will be our first. We are actually renting a TD from CI to attend and try the trailer out so we know what we want to order for our family. Do you have any tips for us for attending our first cico? Thank you!
