We met them at Cumberland Gap National Park in the summer of 2022. We were were camping near each other for a couple of nights.

Only a half inch of snow here, but it got icy over night. Clearing up now since it is sunny. Been a while since we’ve had snow twice in the same winter and it had been three years since we’d had any at all. Not sure I remember 3 winter weather events in winter here.

Snow probably passes south of us this time, but it will not get much above freezing all week.

I’ve seen Falcons in the wild twice & it was on back to back days. We were camping in Shenandoah NP and were at Hawksbill Mountain and saw them. They had a Ranger talk there about them. The next day we drove to DC and saw them in the city. We were up in the tower of the old Post Office there.
