    Cargo Carrier

Jacob, Yes I have installed the cargo carrier. It is featured in the photo gallery with the first time I used it. I used a tightening locking pin. It seems to work well. I don't notice it making any noise and it is very firm. I have left it in place and feel good with it there as I back up...

    Pop-up canopies and winter weather

Evan, Have you checked into the Northern Breeze? We have one and I think it could be guyed out very well. I understand you likely are jaded after the last two adventures, but think about it. I don't think you will be disappointed. Steve

Snow, Salt and the Camp-Inn Teardrop

I am interested in the effects of salt / snow on our teardrop. I have the chance to leave this evening on a hunt and want to take our TD. I will likely just leave in the morning. It is a one day hunt. We have had snow for a couple of days and I am sure the roads are salty. Should we avoid the...

    Let There be Light

M.T., I have thought how good it would be to have a light in the front storage box. When it is dark and you need the wheel chocks or the jack handle a small light could help. I will check out your light for the galley. If it is small enough, maybe in the front storage it would work. Steve

    Cats and the cover

Hilditch, My wife and I live very remote. Why do people think all of us who live in the sticks like dogs? We get drop offs regularly. When the kids were young, it was necessary to have a proactive plan to handle the situation. Not all drop offs were healthy, and until recently we had no shelter...

1st Successful hunt with the Camp-Inn ready to go

Charlie, I was first attracted to the tear drop world just for hunting. It would allow me to hunt a few hours away without setting up a tent. After I stumbled upon the Camp-Inn website, I began to get serious. I talked to Ellen and we started to work out our finances. I will mention dollars...

1st Successful hunt with the Camp-Inn ready to go

Here was a hunt at Land Between the Lakes. This type of outing was my main attraction to a tear drop. I would no longer have to pitch a tent. (145 pounds...9 point...3 1/2 years old) Steve

    Memorbable Thanksgiving meal

Jean, I did a similar thing when in my youth. I was cooking a pumpkin pie as well. 1/4 tsp of nutmeg is not 1/4 cup of nutmeg. I remember wondering why I needed the full can. The house filled with the pungent odor of nutmeg. That pie too was recycled. Steve

Water in the tear shaped lights

I noticed moisture in the amber lenses of my 550 classic this past weekend. I will dry them out and keep an eye on them. It does look like condensation rather than pooling inside.

    Raining condenstation

Jean, What I have done using the heater is: Open the two windows and the vent as far as possible and still stay warm. This has kept the condensation down to zero. But this is when the temps are in the high 20s. Just a thought... Steve
