I installed Froli under standard Camp Inn Mattress on my 560 a few years ago. No topper. My sleep is perfect there - rivaling many $$$ memory foam mattresses at home, over the years.
There is no "extra" room in the foot box, but I can sleep without making contact (after a few nights training ;)
I couldn't find a single after market item that worked.
I wound up purchasing one of the Ultra breeze fan covers (large PE plastic shield that lets you open even when raining).
I just throw it in cabin and load it up with pillows or clothing for transport so it doesn't really take up much...
The onboard battery indicator won't be much use - it'll read 12.8V for quite some time, and then nothing ;)
Assuming you have an on-board 12v battery tender, you won't want to let the tender "maintain" your LiFe battery.
Cant tell if you replaced it with the Duracell one or not.
I...
We've had the clearwaste folding toilet stowed under bed for over a year. Kids ASK to use it when we camp.
Just replaced bags for a trip out west, but thanks to amazing facilities at RMNP and state parks on the way, didn't need to use it this trip ;)
I would recommend lightspeed or other...
I looked at that charger. Solid company. Would be a very good replacement.
However, since I already installed a 30A Solar MPPT Charger to accommodate (2) 160W flexible Solar Panels, no need to replicate the functionality.
I use a 24v DC Transformer when I have A/C but no solar (plugs into...
You May!!! ;)
The Renogy Batteries list for $900 on their website.
You can find them cheaper on Amazon, and on their website when they have a sale.
If you're in the market wait until Memorial Day or 4th July (or any other holiday), when they'll probably have 20% off on website.
Resurrection Post:
I had a fabulous 12d trip this summer out west on house battery with solar, but couldn't make it 3 muggy days this winter running the Dometic and fans under rain. Its time to replace my house battery.
I am putting a 100Ah Li Fe Phosphate battery in my 560 this weekend...
I've been in a 560 when a bear shook me awake looking for food . . . That's another story ;)
This Ecoflow looks sweet. If I didn't already own a GZ Yeti, I'd be all over this. Battery technology is advancing by leaps and bounds - we're so close . . . . .
Hopefully when I need to replace...
Even without 20% off, I LOVE my Froli System.
As long as it's lined up under my hips / shoulders, It sleeps as well as my super fancy memory foam mattress at home.
NEVER a bad night ;)
CI Sighting on July 23 on the first leg of my cross country trip from Fl --> SD.
Was headed west on I-90 near Souix Falls when I saw someone with a light blue TV pulling a CI on the overpass.
I did a double take in my rearview mirror.
Small world ;)
We were on Skyline Drive in June - just up the road at Big Meadow Campground. It was our first official "family" outing, with all 4 of us in the CI. We had an amazing experience as well. Tons of hiking trails, waterfalls, and beautiful weather (even the kids wanted to stay for a few more...
Have you thought about one of those light speed privacy shelters?
Mine has a mesh floor that can be up/down, and can definitely double as a dedicated shower/loo.
If you can manage a large flexible solar panel, I'd imagine you can mange one of those popup tents. :)
I installed the Renogy 30A Rover with the BT module. It had to go in the Galley / sideways.
I would have preferred another location/orientation, but it's protected and functional.
I used power pole connectors to match the GZ Yeti, so as long as the galley is open/unlocked, I can run the...
