Suggestions For Campsite Near Northfield Minnesota

Has anyone stayed in Minnesota near the town of Northfield. We are planning on taking our TD to our daughter's graduation from Carleton and wanted to know where we should book. Any leads would be really helpful.

Its probably too far away for your needs -- its a little over an hour away, but we found Oakwoods trail by mistake back in 2014 or so -- so it may have changed. The only problem we had was that it was muddy due to a class A/C that made a mess, but there was ample room for the teardrop. The owners went out of their way to be helpful....when I'm back up in this area --- it would be a stop for us....

Looks like there is a nice State Park about 18 min drive south of Northfield that might work for you. It is Nerstrand Big Woods. Nerstrand Big Woods State Park

Nerstrand would be my choice. Beautiful park, especially in the Spring when the wildflowers are in bloom.
