Working while Teardropping

Hi,

When my husband and I take off in an 560 Ultra next April, our goal is to travel and work seasonally at National Parks. In the mid-1990's, we spent a season working at Sequoia National Park and loved the experience! Is anyone doing this travel/work thing and if so, can you tell us about your experiences?

Thank you and happy trails!

Diane

My first thought, what are the requirements of work camping. Somewhere some place I have heard that camp workers need to be in self-contained units.

We have a customer who was camp ground host at Lassen National Park for 3 summers in their teardrop.

Glad to hear. Years ago I worked in housekeeping & Michael was a cook at Sequoia and we had a great time! Hope to have more experiences like that! Diane

That camp host at Lassen is the guy who convinced us to finally drop the other boot and buy Spamalot. Nice fellow.

We are just back from Torreya State Park and the campground host was a TENTER!!!
So at least in the Florida State Park system, a host does not have to be "self-contained".
All the best...
