Here is info copied from the owners manual:

To make your Camp-InnTM trailer look right when it is being towed, the ball on your hitch should be set at the proper height for your trailer model. Receiver hitches have inserts with different offsets so you can adjust the ball height by changing inserts. Inserts are available in 2‖ increments and can be used offset-down or offset-up as needed.
Street Model: 14"-16" measured from ground to top of ball.
SUV Model: 17"-19" measured from ground to top of ball.

To measure this height without the trailer hitched, apply a downward force of about 200 lbs to the hitch or rear bumper of the tow vehicle. (sit on the bumper while measuring.)
