I’d give you a few more than 3%…I have 3% of the knowledge and 500% of the land.
Is your roof not an option? We just got our end of the year settle up statement from APS (one of two major power companies in the Phoenix AZ area), and our 12 KW roof top solar produced $193 worth of power in excess of what we used last year, which will cover about the first 4-5 months of the base charge of being connected to the grid.I have 99% of the knowledge to do it...and 100% lack of the land to do it on.
Our house was built in 2024 and is energy efficient. Everything is electric, (hot water heater, AC, stove, etc). Our monthly cost for electricity has ranged from $65 to $140. Water is another story. It has ranged from $194 to $249.As a side note my summer electric bill is more than my winter gas bill and it’s due to air conditioning. I need big batteries or as they say here in Wisconsin bat-trees.
I’m impressed with the low electric bill especially because everything is electric. My water comes free out of the ground. Our house was built in 2024 and is energy efficient.
