Jeopardy answer is.....
What was Camp-Inn. The finest craftsmanship and quality now parked in my drive-way!
Yes, this is the proud owner of #633 reporting in to the forum folks. Hi all! My 550 Ultra was delivered just as it was about to turn dark. The driver had a long drive from Atlanta, GA to Punta Gorda, FL. He offered to help take the double wrapping off of Little Hoot, but that's one of those things you just want to do yourself. Let me tell you, if you decide on having your teardrop/raindrop shipped to your home, the folks at CI did a detailed job of preparing the unit for shipping.
I had to go into work on Tuesday, but was able to take a vacation day today to wash Little Hoot, apply a coat of Woody Wax, get it registered, add to my insurance policy, and check everything out. Taking a break right now to check in with you all. .....what do they say? ... 'time flies when you are having fun'!
The bottom line is, I am extremely pleased my decision was to go with Camp-Inn rather than any other (I sure did a lot of research too). Don't get me wrong, I'm sure there are other good builds out there. This teardrop is absolutely perfect for my needs.
Bare with me a moment if you will about quality. Yes, it's a big deal to me, as is pride. As I was unwrapping and checking everything out on my camper, I couldn't help to ponder about quality. My thoughts about Camp-Inn and quality is that it is apparent to me each and every person working at Camp-Inn takes quality as their individual responsibility. Now that's something to be proud of! Thanks not only to Cary and Craig, but each and every person that is part of Camp-Inn for participating and building my 550 Ultra. Little Hoot is a beauty!
OK, so back to checking out the camper...... I lift the hatch for the first time, whoa...really substantial....I'm wondering at this point where are the keys, should have I gotten them from the shipper? No, very neatly everything was in the drawer.
My break time checking in with you all on the forum is over for right now. I'm off to setting up the cabin and putting everything in the galley area. Oh yes, time flies when you are having fun!
Big shout out to you all.....this is SO VERY COOL! Time for camping, let the journey continue!
Note to Jim and Ani - thank you, I am trying to work it out to meet you both at the campground.
