Randy Ranger Donating Member Jun 12, 2016 #1 Hi Evan, When inserting a URL is there a way to name it instead of displaying the whole address string. This feature was available in the old forum but didn't seem to get prompted for a name when I inserted a URL on a recent post. Thanks! Randy

Jay & Valerie Ranger Donating Member Jun 12, 2016 #2 I think you can do this one already. If you have the text written, highlight the text and select the Chain Link icon It will link the text to the URL you are wanting to name.

Evan Administrator Donating Member Jun 12, 2016 #4 In addition to what Jay said, many links will automatically be replaced with the title of the linked page: For example, I clicked the Link button and pasted in the following link (without a title): http://www.nbc.com/parks-and-recreation The link appeared as shown above until I saved my post. Then it changed to display the website title: Parks and Recreation - NBC.com This doesn't happen with every site. Some don't have the right kind of header information. If you want to change the title of a link, just select the blue text and type in a new title. The underlying link will remain unchanged.
