..trying to wrap up summer projects here too. The cedar topped upper & lower decks I built, and have maintained for the last 40 yrs have outlasted my desire & energy to continue that endless yearly process. So this week instead of the DIY deck project of 40 yrs ago, I hired a local craftsman to come and tackle the process of rebuilding it with composite decking.I’m in the wrapping summer projects up mood.....
I’m also wondering which CI to bring -the 550 or 560? Who wants to see more decals?

It’s been cool here in the Badger State too. This morning it was in the lower 40’s. I’m starting to winterize as winter comes fast once summer is gone.I don’t recall temps below 60 in August in the Palmetto State, but I’m liking the sound of it. Also, looking forward to the low 80s forecast for the race in Darlington next weekend.
We've been given the gift of several cool nights --- even in the middle of august --- around the 15'th, I was in Northern Indiana and had night temperatures in the high 60s. This weekend we were in South Indiana at the last summer gathering before "Crossroads" next month, and again temps in the 60's. On Sunday, we never needed a morning fire.I don’t recall temps below 60 in August in the Palmetto State, but I’m liking the sound of it. This was very welcomed as both Mrs Sweeney and myself needed a little down time, I think more than we both though. It was incredible
Our chapter is in a little bit of a rebuilding phase right now, but we saw several never before seen faces, and 2 other chapter directors joined us -- it was good! On Sunday, the coffee and donuts ran until 10:30 or 11 before people started to peel away... great to see!
Who won?Just came in from playing soccer with the dog. Feels like late September out there.
...just a preview of the new upcoming fall scheduled programs!Another overnight low in the low 40’s. Even the days are only in the 60’s. What happened to summer.
