Inquiry March Fl "cruise Inn At The Cape"

Yup, I showed up unannounced. My car is in the Gainesville Subaru shop waiting for a complete tear down and rebuild. Teardown on Monday, keeping fingers crossed the pistons are ok. At this point know both head caskets are to be replaced.

Oh, by the way, I HAD a new Subaru 2013 loaner car, until I totaled it today! Alive because of the steering wheel and side impact bags. Vacation totally sucks, towed twice, $1100 in one repair shop, at least $2100 in the second shop and a totaled car.

I am fine, sore, and thankful. And at this point hate Florida.

Jean

Oh Jean. I am glad that you were not seriously hurt. I know you bought your outback used. How many miles does it have on it? I hope everything goes well tomorrow and that you have an uneventful rest of your vacation.

Geeze!!! Jean we are sooooooo glad you're okay. I'd suggest a cruise, but with the way your luck is running, you might hit an iceberg. No wait, let's look at it another way...

You're okay, you got through all the mishaps, you're safe. Yep, your luck is actually good, so take that cruise.

Sue

Jean,

Oh my gosh!! What in the world happened? That is unbelievable. I am so glad you are ok. It was great seeing you again on Saturday.

Glad you are ok from your accident.

Carol and Mike

Jean,
We're so sorry to hear about your travel misfortunes! We're very happy to hear you are OK. Good wishes and vibes being sent your way from Minnesota.... stat!! Take care - Julie and Terry

I love the photo bombs by the worker(s) in the background! (Especially the top photo.)

Benn & Maribeth - it was great to meet you. I picked up SO many ideas and tips from seeing your set-up. Maribeth - you DO need to post all of those little and big customizations you have done.

Mike & Carol; It was fun to see both of you again. I'm still chuckling at some of the stories you both were telling over dinner.

Jean: Yowzer!!!!! What a time you are having. Just think, you have used up all of your bad experience points for the year, perhaps the decade! It's all downhill from here. Sorry I missed you! I had to be back in Michigan (to work) by Monday morning.

Jenn: What can I say? It was such an honor and so much fun to be under your wing for a full week. I can't wait until our path's cross again.

It was great seeing everyone again. It is always fun to see what everyone else has done to their CI. I spent the whole day today upgrading. Jenn, I found your clamps today at Home Depot. Benn and Meribeth, I found a towel and am fixing it for the refrigerator--I am going to try velcro on the stick to see if that works. I got my Black Gorilla Tape, pipe insulation for the corners, ordered my rugs. Still have to order our Northern Breeze.

Meribeth, I am still looking at the windows and trying to figure out if I feel up to that challenge. Do you think the CI will discolor under the covering for that period of time?

Carol,
Thought about discoloration last night. Don't know how long it took. If you just cover the front window there's not much aluminum. Benn thinks we'll need padding.

Rick - Jenn,
Still camping. No wifi. Will post pictures when we get home.

This park is a keeper. ACoE Ortona at a lock east of Ft Meyers.

Jean: Great to meet you. Thanks for coming over to join us. Sorry to hear about your trouble. Glad to hear you are OK.

Jenn: Wow!!!!!!!!!! Don’t know how you do it. Next time we will arrange for a younger crowd to camp next to you
.
Rick: Another surprise visitor glad you made it. Yes I will post the “postable’s”. BTW I hear you a have secret kitchen item. So where do you store it?

Mike and Carol: Our new found camping friends. There is no one here to make me coffee in the AM  Thanks for setting this up.

Carol’s Homemade Beef stew dinner and the hungry CI Campers.
