KathyBob's Big Trip 2012 - part 1

Discussion in 'Long Haul' started by KathyBob, Oct 8, 2012.

  1. Wow Kathy and Bob! Lake Louise just went onto my bucket list thanks to that one shot of Bob with the gorgeous mountain and lake in the background.

It was so great to meet you both at CICO. I had not realized how much travelling you had already done before even hitting Wisconsin. It sounds exhausting. NO WONDER Bob was sitting in his chair so much that weekend!! :)

Looks like he's enjoying a Fat Squirrel, one of my favorite refreshments...

Actually, it's a Spotted Cow; same brewery, though.

Hey! Glad you made it home in one piece. How was the snow in Montana and points west?

Hi, Jim and Sue - glad to see you back on the Forum; all the laundry done yet? We only had brief flurries in Wyoming, coming towards Sheridan, but the road was clear because the wind was blowing the snow off it. Bob said we only got about 14mpg over that stretch. Hit fog leaving Missoula but once we could see more than 100 feet ahead and to the side, the trip down into Idaho was fantastic. Thanks again for your messages - your info helped us to make some good traveling decisions. Anxious to hear more about your trip home.

PS - Bob is NEVER going to be able to give up that chair (or hat)!

    Kathy
