Heh Heh Heh, I just picked up a Camp Chef Ultimate Turkey Roaster, just because I indicated to someone that I wanted a flat bottom DO to deep fry in.

Preposterous! Although I did find a bacon & egg skillet today on the way home, in LaPorte, Indiana. But that thing jumped out in front of the car.

No, George, I've never heard of them, until now... What critically needed food item do they make?

Jenn, camping was great. We camped at Potato Creek State Park in Indiana, which is only about 85 miles or so from home. The weather forecast was questionable, but the weekend turned out to be just beautiful - mid 70's and mixed sun and clouds. We brought the bikes along and did some riding on a couple of trails in the park, and got in a beautiful 5-6 mile hike yesterday. There were lots of migrating birds out singing for our enjoyment, and spring flowers were everywhere. It's definitely a good pick for a close-by, even for just an overnight, trip.

George, how about bringing that deep fryer to the CICO. You could feed...uh, TEACH us all how to use it.

(And bring some turkeys, too. Yummmmmm....)

It is a roaster, not a fryer. I will use the top as my fryer pan. Won't be frying any turkeys. I have a lot of practicing b4 I go public with this one LOL

You can practice with us. We won't mind eating any mistakes, honest.
