Adventures of our 560

We finally got our 560 on Monday Oct. 15th, 2012. It has been a long tough summer waiting but wow the wait was worth it.
Our first 2 nights were spent at Dexter county park in Wood county Wi. our 3rd night at a private campground and the 4th at Lake le Auqua Nah St. Park in Illinois then to Prophetstown St. Pk. for 2 nights with the LOL Tearjerkers. What a great week we had. The 560 is unbelievable. Our first trip was 455 mi.
As soon as I figure out how to add pictures I will.

Welcome to the "CampInn Club", let the fun begin. We just celebrated our 550's one year anniversary on Oct. 14 and have enjoyed everyone of the 64 nights we have taken it on the road.

Becky and I just got home from our 2nd trip in our 560. We drove 2,940 miles and were gone for just over 3 weeks. Spent 25 nights in the camper and 2 nights in hotels. We were in Il., Ky., Tn., Ar.,La.,Ok. and Mo. camped in all but Mo.
Arkansas is such a beautiful state and we love the people there, so friendly and willing to help. Two of our favorite places were Blanchard Springs Cave and Cane Creek St. Park.
The weather wasn't quite as warm as we had hoped but much better than here in Il. The time we were in La. it was about 80 2 days later it was in the 40's in Ar. Then we were off to Beaver Bend St. Pk. in Ok for a T&TTT gathering where we got a few more ideas. One was an RV water filter to hook to the fresh water hose. Some of the water in a few places was not the best tasting.
I am still having trouble with the add pictures thing so hope to get that figured out so I can get some posted.
(oh and I am using blue for all my states because I like blue and it is easy.) :)

Sounds like a great trip! We are thinking about visiting Arkansas this Spring - I will have to pick your brains about spots to see there. You've been busy, and it's not yet April - a very good start to your camping year!
