Just got back from the gathering of the tears. 173 tears from all over the us and Canada. Largest gathering in the US. I took maybee 50 pictures and I will try to see what the best way to post them is. There were about 10 or 11 tear drop/ rai drops from camp inn and many many homebuilts.

For my first official trip since picking up the tear the end of October I can say we had a ball. Weather was 80 plus for the whole six days we were gone.

Here is one quick picture I took. There were 4 of us camped together right here, and Kay proclaimed us "Camp-Inn Corner". The other 7 were spread out throughout the campground. It was us, The Far Fars (Joan), Travelbug (Doug and Elaine), and Carol (not sure if her 550 has a name). You can see the 3 of our 560s and Carol's trailer was hidden behind me. Oh, and for the record, I calculated 7 550s and 4 560s!

It was a great time. For our first gathering, even though we have had our trailer almost 3 years, it was fantastic and fun. We will definitely want to do more. Laddy really loved the gravity-car (pinewood derby) races and there were lots of kids to play with. We were so thankful for the pool...we had one extremely hot day and several other pleasant days. I also really enjoyed meeting more of our Camp-Inn family and see friends we have made along the way. Thanks neighbors for tolerating my kid too! I know he had you second guessing the invite at first, but I tried to keep him on his best behavior. Hopefully he wasn't too social (he comes by it honestly though!).

Until next time!

Yah, we try to do that when the campsite is big enough. Put in the Wagon wheel with the fire pit in the middle. TD far enough away to keep your space and join the campfire as needed.

Problem is, Group sites are about the only ones that will do that without being in each other's lap and you need a group to get them. Otherwise you're too close...
Catch 22 I think..
