Based on talking with Cary yesterday on the pluses and minuses of the Dometic vs Novakooler I sent an email to NovaKool to ask about warranty service. Good news is rather than an email response they called me back. That says a lot about customer service. That being said their warranty service is back to the factory/facility in Canada. Dometic seems to have service centers, other than in Colorado of all places, so shipping to one place or the other would be about the same. Downside to service on Dometic would be the likely hood that the service center has the part that you need.

Maybe those who have had service/warranty issues could chime in on the customer service, turnaround time and any hassles that they had?

I called Novakool about my problem. They called me back quickly and we talked it through. I had broken my cord (by trying to take it apart to take the fuse out, which was totally unnecessary), so they simply sent me a new cord. When I plugged in the new cord, I had the SAME problem (no power), until we realized that we had the cord plugged in incorrectly. I called them back and we had a good discussion about it. I thought their service approach was good.
