zymol

Any one try zymol for metal? They make a great car cleaner and wax, but I have not tried the metal product. Hate to spend the money and not end up with a good result.

Haven't heard of it, and couldn't find the metal product on their site. Do you have a link?

It's called Zymol Metall and the web site is: www.zymol.com. They have a fantastic car cleaner/wax that we use on our vehicles, but I haven't tried the Metall. It's suppose to be very good on oxidized aluminum and stainless steel. My only worry is it's $26 a jar and it doesn't look as if one jar would be enough to do the entire TD. It might be a very expensive proposition. That's why I was asking if anyone had tried it....I'm a cheep skate.

Jim says we'll probably be Walberizing our way home from the mother ship.

Such is life.

Walbernize does a good job, especially if you don't have much heavy staining. I think it was Hilditch who suggested an auto rubbing compound as a 'stronger' alternative. Either way it does take some time and elbow grease, and getting a good feel for using the buffer (which I had never done until getting the teardrop). The good thing is the trailer will look great when you're done ;)
