Winslow Park, Freeport

Barry and Annie. We stayed at the Winslow Park and Campground in Freeport last October and loved it: Freeport Maine: Winslow Park and Campground

Many of the sites are right at the water. Decent shower rooms (individual) and bathrooms. Highly recommend it. Kathy

I looked at that one looks like a great site but you have to book a minimum of two nights if you book a Saturday which seems to be a common restriction at that time of the year.

Well, if you can spend the extra night it might be worth it. Our Maine friends had cautioned us about mosquitos at that time of year. The breeze that came with being on the water made the mosquitos a non-issue.
