What Is The One Thing From 2022...

I only purchased one gadget this year: A Lion Energy ME solar generator. At 3000 watt hours and a 4000 watt surge it can run the AC overnight. The 24 volt system can recharge in about 4 hours with a 600 watt solar array or 2 hours plugin. The base unit (1000 watt hours) can run most everything except the AC for a typical 3 day weekend so that’s what I carry in cool weather with no 110 power. The converters are built in: two 110, Two USB, 12 volt anderson, 12 volt cigarette. I also use it as part of my safe room kit. With the CI I can feed the 12v directly in through a cigarette port, bypassing the built in battery, which acts as a backup.
Hello, curious about how you are connecting your sogen/expansion pack setup (pictured in your post) to the trailer. Do you position it in the cooler bay, plug it in (where?) and close/lock the galley down? Because it would be acting as shore power and we thought the only way to connect to that would be external. Thanks.

I can't speak for rmbrowder, but you are correct that connecting to the 110 AC plug on the outside would be the preferred method, both for safety, and for keeping the sogen cooler when working. However there is a way to power the CI's 12V and 110 AC systems with the sogen inside the galley, and that would be with a DIY double male ended cord for each voltage, and plugging them into the 12 & 110 outlets in the galley, and the same outlets on the sogen to back feed the CI's electrical system. Unless you need the 110 it would be better to just use a 12V plug, since the 110 will also power your charger for the CI's battery, and discharge the sogen quicker.

I keep both sections outside the trailer and plug an extension cord in. Just like shore power. I do protect the batteries from weather.
