Teardrop History

That's awesome! I love photos of old teardrops...there is a lot of really cool history here.

I have been scanning family photos and came across these two. Probably 1952, I don't know where. The lady is my mother and the two boys are my older brothers. The younger one is two years older than I.

Boy, those body lines look familiar! What an awesome family legacy...I'd love to find a camp spot like that today :D

I think the secret spots are out there...
just dont post on youtube, icamper, alltrails or public forums and the blm or usfs rangers wont have to close them for everyone cuz diapers, human poo, trash cleanup and forest fires...

Maybe a pm is best.

I dont doubt there are --- they just are hard to find --- and once you find them its best to remember the first rule about flight club....

Following a couple nomads on youtube they've stopped saying where they were --- for a while they posted GPS coordintes...then going back found sites being closed....d'uh!

If people don't want to share where they are, I have no interest in hearing how awesome it is. YMMV.

I can respect that - the people I am following are not s much about how good a site is --- but more about the general area, or, just about their lives as nomads....

you're right though --- if the channel were just about how cool where I am, but I'm not telling you -- wouldn't be very interesting.

Well, there's a lot of that around. I see enough of that on forums and other social media sites. People want to brag about how cool they are for finding spots you don't know about. "And oh, BTW, because I'm such a responsible person, I can't tell other people where it is. They would just ruin it for everybody."

I have no use for people like that.
