Accidentally camping in the snow on the Skagit River for the Eagle River Float Trip. The propane campfire was a trip saver.

Yes, it's a life saver and just flick it on/off for breakfast on those chilly mornings.

Biggest drawback is when it's colder, the propane stays cold, frost on the side and then goes out. Had to pour hot water, which would then turn to ice at the bottom. Next solution would be duct tape with chem hand warmers and then try the Electric water pipe warmers if they don't get too hot.. just saw those a while back and look like a possible solution... if not too hot that is..
