Securing your trailer

FYI, Group Buy price is $150 so a savings of $45.00 off MSRP.

send me a PM if you would like the promo code. I promised him I would not blast it all over the internet.
Hi Jay and Valerie - am looking at amazon for a Proven Industries Hitch lock and wondering if you know if the promo code would still be honored? Thanks!

I don't know that it will work through Amazon. However, if you contact Proven directly they should be able to provide a discount. Though, I don't think they will do the 45 anymore. The most recent one they sent me was 20 off.

Hi jay, I know this is an old post but, do you still like this lock over others 4 yrs later? And can you still get me a promo code, thanks!!!

Thanks all! Lucked out and got a new but never used one on eBay for $100. Getting my rig ready to roll! Still stocking the galley and getting a few essentials like ground mats and a bit of camping gear I didn't have already.

I think many of you know I made a video a while back about how I secure my trailer using the Proven Locks hitch lock and a Trimax Wheel Lock. Proven locks reached out to me and asked me to take a look at their new Stainless Steel lock. This thing is a beast and really steps up the hitch lock solution.

Nice job on the videos, Jay!! I will be happily throwing away my infamous yellow coupler lock as soon as I replace it.

Your opinion, please. Having reoriented the latching mechanism to the rear on their hitch lock, in your personal opinion, is the extra expense for the stainless steel option is warranted? In other words, in your personal opinion, how significant are the diminishing returns? The aluminum option seems quite robust.

With the cost 35-40% higher for me, paying in Canadian dollars, the difference is a consideration.

Your reply would be most appreciated!!

Bill
