Just returned from a three nighter at North Bend Park on Kerr Reservoir (VA). We tried two of Hilditch's recipes, and they were marvelous. We will definitely be adding them to our repertoire. A "9" and Trusello Bread. Yum!!!
Trusello Bread...worth the wait, surprisingly simple.
So good, there was only one piece left, between the two of us!!
A "9" is a "10" in our book!
We made some modifications to the recipe, by using a homemade Bolognese sauce made from our own garden tomatoes, lots of veggies, sweet italian sausage and ground beef, then frozen in a ziploc. It traveled nicely, and was defrosted by night 3.
