We are making a move to a 20'camping trailer, which means our wonderful 550 "Special" teardrop is up for sale!

Working closely with Cary, we created a perfect, easy to maintain teardrop that was purchased directly from CI in April 2015.

Condition: excellent.
Approximate mileage is 15,000.
Only $14,300

A 550 "Special" includes:

1. A Fantastic Fan.
2. A total of 7 storage cubbies in the cabin, plus 2 under mattress storage bins.
3. Clothes hooks (we strung a line from one to the other which was very handy).
4. Two small shelves, for wallet, keys, eye glasses.
5. Two doors.
6. Screened windows on each door.
7. Two teardrop windows.
8. Two tables that extend off of galley.
9. Stainless steel counter in galley with two under counter storage bins.
10.Two shelves, a utensil drawer, and a storage cabinet in galley.
11.Birch wood in cabin and galley.

We added the following special options:

1. Front storage box (great for tools, hoses, etc.)
2. Alcan cover (cover to protect front of teardrop)
3. "Ultra" style light fixtures (an upgrade from simpler style lighting)
4. SUV off-road package (increased ground clearance for off-roading)
5. Table extender (moves galley table to allow for better access to galley)
6. Under counter drawer organizer
7. Dometic refrigerator
8. 12 volt receptacle in each head cubby
9. Back-up lights
10.Solar connector/ controller
11.100w Renogy portable solar panels & case
12.Electric brakes
13.AGM Battery upgrade
14.Spare tire

Two storage bins under mattress, one which houses spare tire.

Good to hear from you. Are you on the AT still? Hope all is well with you. We've been in Necedah for a few days. We wanted the teardrop to be checked out before selling and she passed with flying colors! Safe travels to you.
 
Have enjoyed your blog. Sounds like having ample room for 2 people and being able to standup and move around became an issue.

Thanks, Bob! I will continue blogging so I hope you'll continue to follow! I will change the name, though, but haven't decided on one yet! If we weren't full timing, we would keep the teardrop, but more space will be more comfortable. We will miss the teardrop.
