Furnace Poll: Furnace Or Not???

Your questin needs to be clarified. Cary might have "put in" an unknown surprise at this point.
This is what I know and signed work order for:
Upgrade faucet and backsplash
Cable TV hookup
New table leg
Mattress (previous owners used a futon mattress)
large bottle of darn Walbernize (now to find a man to buff, ha ha)
Camp Inn brochures and coupons
Warrenty work:
check wheel bearings
curb side door frame had leaked, leaving a stain on wall, the frame was replaced, stain sanded and resealed
checked galley hatch seals
can't remember the other routine warrenty items checked.
Above all Camp Inn customer service has been fantastic even when I am the second owner of the teardrop. Customer service is the area that has left a lasting positive impression with me. As Cary said, the TD are their babies and CI takes good care of their units.

My opinion on the furnace:
Living in South/Central Texas most of our camping will not be done in really cold weather, so when we were planning on ording a Raindrop we would not have chosen that option. However, since we purchased a new unit that was undelivered, ready to go, we took what we got and it canme with a furnace. I didn't realize that there would be extra space if you didn't have it. Wish I could take it out for that reason alone. We planned on using a small space heater and still will probably - our furnace may never be turned on.

My most agonizing decision regarding my purchase was whether or not to get the furnace. I finally decided to do so because I plan on having the CI for many years, hopefully well into my retirement. I wanted to keep my options open to any camping climate that might present itself with or without electrical hookup.
