Hi Cary! Their website has a 30 quart model (CR28) that seems like it too would also fit. It's 22.68 * 12.6 * 15.55. Maybe not with side table.
Was that not available at the time or is there some reason that wouldn't work. There's a very good Memorial Day sale with free shipping right now. Tempted as a first time trying out a 12V fridge.

Shelley,

The 30quart CR series fits very well, a little small even. We carry them and have them in stock, we just have not gotten it on the website yet. Hard to beat the prices of the CR series. They are very very basic fridges but pretty nice.

Is this the E42? I don't see an E40 on their web site. My @#$ dometic is acting flakey again. Freezign up...set to 37 but it was down to 25 degrees.

grrrr

good -- my Dometic is doing what dometics seem to do! I'm curious who leaves theirs running and in the galley while traveling? I'm wondiering if over-heating is what has given me fits with now 3 dometics.

I do leave mine running in the galley when traveling. I also find travel days tend to use the most energy and the galley gets mighty hot during the day which keeps the fridge running a lot. But it's still more convenient for me than to try and put the fridge in the car during travel and then move it to the galley once at camp.

We let ours run in the galley as we are traveling too, since we don't have a good place to carry it plugged in inside the car, and no outlet in the trunk. Soon as we get setup it sits on the curbside extension table, and is usually plugged into the sogen.

The E42 is on sale for Labor Day for only $229. Cary, I don’t suppose you’d sell the modified handles separately? I’m guessing replacing the stock handles is necessary to fit in The galley.
