Morning Cup Of Coffee And Weather

Got to hang out with Tour931 for a bit today. It was good catching up with him.

Cary
And I got to tour the mothership with Cary again.

And I got to see my pin in the map.

It was also good to have a few other things adjusted like the door locks and having the axle re-crowned. Not to mention getting a new bat-tree and the new electrics that goes with a lithium battery.

I think its interesting how many trailers are in a specific area --- even around me there are several. But I've only ever seen 1 "in the wild" at a campsite I was staying, and only once ever on the road -- except when near the CICO of course :)

It’s 9F and snowing after a winter of above annual temperatures. Now that it’s spring the winter finally decided to show its face.

I put the CI back into its winter spot in the garage yesterday.

I hope it got a good bath first! ;)

I got another night in last night --- I went down to Brown County State Park (my go-to)! for a simple one-night trip. I basically watched a movie, and worked on some SBA documents. The park only had 1 shower house open, the rest will be opening this weekend.

The 65-year-old infrastructure leaves the director panicking that pipes will break. I say they needed to be replaced anyway, and knowing government breaking is often the only way things get done. The state doesn't hesitate to raise admission fees -- with 400+ sites that are busy all year, there's no excuse in my book. Not even official camping season, the loop I was in was 80% full on a Monday night.

Next week may be better since everyone is congregating around the showers.

I had 2 kids ride their bikes "hot and fast" through the campsite --- refreshingly, Grandpa or Dad barked in a tone reminiscent of a Drill Instructor, "What do you think YOU are doing!" I immediately reconsidered all of my mistakes in life and accepted the apologies. I snapped him a polite hat-tip -- I wish more parents would do that, good lessons learned early stop big lessons being needed later.

Heading out again tomorrow for a couple nights this time to visit some good friends I haven't seen in far too long.

I finally got out of my driveway after being snowbound for three days.

I heard you guys got a little kiss from Snow Miser. I feel for ya. I grew up in Northern Indiana, which is similar to Buffalo, New York, though not quite as bad. I don't think there is much worse than the late march snow events....

Yes, we are starting our last week in AZ, and are hoping the new foot of snow that has fallen at our MN home is melted by the time we get back... but getting a chance to use the snow blower once this season wouldn't be the worst thing either ;)
Beautiful!

It’s 17F with clear blue skies as I sip my morning cup of Java. I’m so ready for spring to get here so I can start on my 30x50’ garage.
