We had Three Dog Night music videos playing in our house until the wee hours last night. Had to be done.
Saw Chuck Negron of Three Dog Night died this week. . Our camper is Jeremiah which comes from the Three Dog Night song Joy to the World which starts off:
Jeremiah was a bullfrog
Was a good friend of mine
I never understood a single word he said
But I helped him a-drink his wine
And he always had some mighty fine wine …
We were sitting around trying to come up with a nickname when he got to S.C. back in 2015 and our daughter said it “reminds of a frog. Thought of the song & played it for her & Mary Ellen. And that is how our 560 Ultra got the name, Jeremiah.
We’ve mostly had might fine beer when camping.
Some of the younger members might disagree, but we're certainly in that category.... same song on the repeat mode.Guess we're all at that age where our hero's are going to their rewards....Now I've got a song running through my head!

My always been all over the place too. Heavy Metal, Jazz, Classical, R & B from the 60s/70s,Bluegrass Blues, Folk & lately a lot of Red Dirt. Drove to New Mexico to see Ray Wylie Hubbard & going to see Iron Maiden for the 4th next fall.HA....my musical taste has always been a little odd.
These days I’m singing and playing on ukulele a lot of the pop, rock, folk/rock songs I heard on the AM radio in the 60s/70s. So much fun, and a lot of the music stands the test of time very well indeed!I like whatever was playing on AM radio from the 50’s to the 70’s.
......almost makes me homesick, but when we got back to MN in mid-March a few years ago, and found myself doing this, is when we decided to start staying in AZ a little longer.
I love the winter snow although I can do without the -33F temperatures and wind. At least it’s finally above zero.......almost makes me homesick, but when we got back to MN in mid-March a few years ago, and found myself doing this, is when we decided to start staying in AZ a little longer.![]()
I try to listen to Casey Kasem’s Top 40 each week on the 70s channel. This week is from 1977.I like whatever was playing on AM radio from the 50’s to the 70’s.
Yeah, the Vikes may be kicking themselves for letting Sam go after JJ McCarthy's first two lack luster injury riddled seasons.GO SAM DARNOLD!

Yeah, when we were first getting started and living in a 12 yr old 10x48 two bedroom mobile home for five years while saving our nickels and dimes to build, I ended up fashioning some skirting out of some painted chipboard and banking the snow around it to keep the wind from pulling all the heat out from under the trailer. What a huge difference it made in both comfort, and furnace run time. This year has been absolutely brutal for me personally. I think the fact I went to Texas in December where I was re-exposed to 60 and 70's for a couple weeks probably reset by internal expect-o-meter too high. I"m looking for an excuse to go back down there for a few weeks, but my friends are telling me things have slowed down and there's isn't quite enough meat on the bone to justify the expense of getting there and back.
I am still not sure how I could have been so stupid. But figuring out that my furnace was suffocating on a "high quality" furnace filters recommended by my former HVAC guy, it would take 3-4 hours to get the house to its 'cool but acceptable' range never making it to warm. At least now even on cold days I can easily get the home to 72 in just an hour or two --- turn on the pellet stove and it goes even faster.
Today, I will be reinstalling a furnace that I repaired over the weekend - this fella has been using space heaters and 'fireplaces' I don't know how he's been surviving - but a family member took pity on him and paid for a furnace repair. Considering the cold his camper was remarkably cozy. I think it is safe to say that skirting around the bottom surely improved the overall living conditions remarkably well.
Coffee's gone - its 20 degree outside -- and I'm glad I told the customer I'd be there late morning....hoping for a few more degrees!!
Youtube find! I'm always looking for good content - especially in this time of the year when there's no place for me to go. So many content providers have stopped producing content, format changed to stationary, or simply stopping. Come on youtube you can do better than this -- Pay your creators!
I don't necessarily require 'teardrop' but I have a special place for them in my sub list. I found this guy. 3 year old channel, that really does deserve some more attention.

During my earlier aviation career as an A&P we had floor radiant heat in the hangar. More than one mechanic fell asleep on the floor!I have in-floor radiant heat and I love it. No drafts and no noise plus it’s always the right temperature. Since it takes so long to warm up I just leave it at 68F.
