Momentos

Yo,
My wife and I went to the Clifty Falls State Park in Madison Indiana today. While there we noticed at the inn that there were several State Park Momentos for sale, like pins, patches and mugs.
My question to all is, what kind of trinkets or souvenirs if any, do you all collect when you travel? Is there something you consistently look for at one location or another?
Just wondering.
Thanks,
Ken

I've got a small collection of hiking staff medallions, from trails we've hiked, or parks that we've visited. Most are nailed onto my wooden hiking staff, but two are nailed onto a rib of our galley hatch. Found the latest one, just this week, while camping at Holliday Lake State Park in Virginia. This was an unexpected bonus, in addition to the gorgeous weather and great time we had!

Lapel/hat pins from places we have been/stayed along with buttons from teardrop gatherings. The pins are fairly inexpensive, don't take up a lot of room & are fun to look at to see where we've been. We hang them on a small banner, which then creates a conversation piece at our campsite.

From my travels flying a hot air balloon rally typically balloonists have two items that we trade. Baseball card sized cards that have a photo of the balloon on front and usually something about the pilot on the back and pins of the balloons. When flying at a balloon rally event the organizers usually have a commemorative pin for that year along with other stuff like hats, shirts or jackets. Nice way to remember your travels.

I noticed a shot of Evans trailer and he had a US map on the side, not sure if it was there permanently or he hangs it up in camp but have done the same thing while ballooning.
