Hello everyone,

I'm a little late with the greeting since I've already been posting but I was waiting until we actually got our raindrop ordered. We will be picking it up in April! I wish we had gotten the chance to actually tour one before buying but I can't wait to get it and take the boys out.

One more Camp-inn in Washington!
Cheers!

Congratulations!
We picked ours up last April and it was a long winter waiting for it but it has been a joy to have it this summer.

You probably made the best and easiest purchase of your lives we know we did good luck and happy camping!

Good choice to pick it up. That way you get the deluxe tour from Cary & Craig & Co, and get to see it all shiny before you take it out.

Congratulations! We were ready to buy sight unseen, but were able to see one first. We made several upgrades after we saw one. You will have no regrets.

We've had ours about a year and 3 months and are getting ready to head out on Sunday morning to Tenn for a week or so. I'm betting you'll love yours once you get it. t might be a long winter waiting for it. Good luck.

Thanks everyone,

We just got back from tent camping in Glacier NP and while we had a great time I can't wait to get the raindrop and throw out the tent. By the way, although I love Glacier NP this will be the last time I visit in August on a weekend, it was PACKED with people and the traffic on the going to the sun road was crazy. I'm sure the weekdays are a little better.

Evan, since I'll be towing with a Jetta I am very concerned with weight so I left off some options I know your a fan of but I did get: 560 ultra, alcan cover, fantastic fan, sunroof, door screens, galley screens, brakes with parking brake, battery isolator, kitchen table and econ table, spare tire and gas meter. I read a post of yours which said you didn't get the spare tire but carry a "fix a flat", not a bad idea, I'll have to look at that product but the last thing I want to do is have a flat without a spare or a dependable way to fix it.

I'm looking forward to meeting Cary and company and getting the tour when we pick it up. After we pick it up we will be going strait to Alabama and the SE for a few weeks before driving it home.

Cheers!

Greg,

I just had a customer stop by yesterday on the way home from a trip to Glacier. They had some service work and upgrades they want done and we were right on the way home to TN. They were telling me the same exact story about Glacier. They could not believe how packed it was there. Not at all what any of us come to expect.

Mewton - in my opinion, the most important option is the couch. I think that adds more value for the money than anything else.

Kent gave me some good advice when we were putting our build together: You are going to have your trailer for the rest of your life, but you will probably replace your tow vehicle in the next five years. So, if there is an option you think you will wish you had - get it. You can always get a bigger TV if you need it.

Cary, this was probably my eighth visit to Glacier and this was the busiest I had ever seen it.

Evan, after reading a post about your trip to La Wis Wis I wanted to go there instead but when I checked the reservations online it looked like the whole campground was booked. I'll have to go there next year. I'll also have to get better about planning ahead and reserving spots. For any trip within 10 hours I've always kept 2 or 3 destinations in mind waited until the last minute to chose depending on weather. Works fine for campgrounds that don't allow reservations but with more and more of them accepting reservations I may have to plan ahead a little more.

I'm actually really happy with my choices. Maybe the air conditioner or heater or something would help resale, but I'm planning on wearing the thing out, not re-selling it in a couple years. It's everything I want in a trailer, even a little more and even if I do get a new TV in a few years I don't want to have to get a bigger vehicle, so I'm happy.

mewton - Congratulations! Good choice on options. The fantastic fan really does a good job on cooling. We currently have one in our Hi-Lo and wouldn't own a RV without one. Look forward to seeing pictures and hearing about your camping adventures in your new Camp-Inn. We're wannabee's!

Mewton-congrats! Great option choices. We love the Fantastic fan and feel that it does all that we really need in terms of cooling. As for a heater, we got a small ceramic heater, but haven't used it. enjoy your CI!

Hey Mewton - perhaps next summer we should have a Pacific NW Camp-Inn camp-out. :)

Sounds great to me Evan, I was hoping to make it to one or two teardrop rallies next year. A NW Camp-Inn camp out sounds fun. Let's set a date early so everyone can get reservations ;-) Kalaloch campground on the coast looked fantastic, I couldn't get in there earlier this year because of not making a reservation.
