Well, after owning 2 wonderful 550's, Bob and I picked up a new 560 on February 27. As a single person I felt the 550 was the best teardrop for one person. Bob enjoyed camping but was struggling with the limited space. During the a factory tour during the Camp Out, he was amazed at the extra space offered in a 560. Cary mentioned that if any one was interested in placing an order and willing to take a winter delivery, a build can begin very soon. Well, my mind started thinking, hmmm, now is the time to place an order.... So after a few conversations between Bob, myself, and Camp Inn, I placed an order for a 560 with anticipated delivery in February 2015.

Since this is my third teardrop, I had specific ideas of how I desired to have a media center with a wonderful stereo, storage, and additional 12volt and 110 plug ins in the space.

Craig was willing to design a media center, so we exchanged a variety of emails and phone calls discussing design options till the final design was completed. The goal was to create a unique media center in the "tv space" with pleasing design details. The final design included a larger door of sufficient size to hold a laptop. The door also offered an opportunity to add an inlay. As you notice in the picture, the inlay adds a wonderful visual display to the cabin interior.

I purposely did not mention the media center in the forum until now because initially this was a one time design. While I can not make official announcements, Cary has given permission to post the images and hint the media center will become a new option for future builds.

Thank you to Craig for his time and design expertise creating the media center.

Attached are various photos of the media center.
Begins with the teardrop in a compele white wrap for the trip home. Unto the unwrapping, and media center details.

Awesome...so the laptop sits on the door, correct? And that is what you use for movies, etc.?

That inlay looks awesome.

The plan is to view DVD's on the laptop.
Yes, the inlay is beautiful!
Oh, and the stereo rocks!

We got a peek at your 560 when we picked ours up a few weeks ago. Looked awesome. We missed the bad weather and did not need to get ours wrapped for the drive home. We only had some snow the last 60 miles and a little soap and water the next day worked just fine. I was worried about you when you had indicated you were going to Florida after pickup. The weather is just not cooperating. Look forward to seeing you and Bob this year at the CICO. Don't forget to meet on "Bob Hill!"

Yes, having a stereo is nice. We have a Sony Car deck in ours with Blue Tooth so I can pair my phone with it for my own musical tastes. We have speakers inside and in the galley. We also have the TV/DVD in ours and I wired the TV's audio out to the Aux in on the stereo so we get theater like sound when watching TV and DVDs.

Jean isn't there a special award for having 3 camp inns?
The media center is very nice congratulations.
