Well, after owning 2 wonderful 550's, Bob and I picked up a new 560 on February 27. As a single person I felt the 550 was the best teardrop for one person. Bob enjoyed camping but was struggling with the limited space. During the a factory tour during the Camp Out, he was amazed at the extra space offered in a 560. Cary mentioned that if any one was interested in placing an order and willing to take a winter delivery, a build can begin very soon. Well, my mind started thinking, hmmm, now is the time to place an order.... So after a few conversations between Bob, myself, and Camp Inn, I placed an order for a 560 with anticipated delivery in February 2015.
Since this is my third teardrop, I had specific ideas of how I desired to have a media center with a wonderful stereo, storage, and additional 12volt and 110 plug ins in the space.
Craig was willing to design a media center, so we exchanged a variety of emails and phone calls discussing design options till the final design was completed. The goal was to create a unique media center in the "tv space" with pleasing design details. The final design included a larger door of sufficient size to hold a laptop. The door also offered an opportunity to add an inlay. As you notice in the picture, the inlay adds a wonderful visual display to the cabin interior.
I purposely did not mention the media center in the forum until now because initially this was a one time design. While I can not make official announcements, Cary has given permission to post the images and hint the media center will become a new option for future builds.
Thank you to Craig for his time and design expertise creating the media center.
Attached are various photos of the media center.
