Has my battery gone Toes Up?

This thread got me curious. I have flatlined my batter three times now. I'm talking so low a light wouldn't even glow.

I decided to test my battery. Thanks to amazon points, I bought a tester and emptied the storage bin. The 1 1/2 year old battery that has been abused tested out perfectly healthy. Perhaps the deep-cycle batteries are more resistant than I have assumed.
Is this one of the Walmart batteries that you referred to? Who makes it? Seems to be a very able power source!

Yah, 24dc.

There are precious few manufacturers of batteries, so whatever brand you buy it is likely made by the same manufacturer as a "name brand"

I'm sure, with the volume Walmart buys, they are obviously built to a spec which MAY be lower than big names. But I'd seriously wager the difference is the sticker they put on the front.

"Clarios" formerly Johnson Controls is who, for the best of my research, makes Walmart batteries. I've never had a problem with them either in my teardrop or in my cars. Everything from Jeeps to Mercedes. The jeep I just bought has a batter made in 2017. So 5 or 6 years old. I tested it too -- 100% healthy.

I'm NOT a fan of Walmart -- billionaires made multi-billionaires by outsourcing jobs and paying low wages to employees...BUT...I'm not a fan of spending a lot more than I need to either.
