Get Away To Bishop Creek Ca

We had a great weekend trip to Bishop Creek. This was our first time having so many people ask about the trailer. Almost began to feel like we were salesman. But in truth we loved sharing how much we like having it. We sent them all away with the camp-in web site. The best was in town we had a lady follow us into a parking lot just to get a better look and then on the way home I really thought another person was going to fall of her vehicle trying to get a look as she drove past us…

if anyone is looking for a nice place I would recommend the bishop area. Being in the Sierra mountains is always a great way to recharge. I’m already missing being there.
I’ve attached a couple of photos from our set up..

Hope you all had a great weekend too

Looks like it’s a very small campground with mostly walk in tent sites. You had no problem getting a non walk in site on the weekend with no reservation? That looks like an awesome location.

This is the first year that this campground was on reservation only. I somehow got this site 2 weeks ago. The campground only has a couple of small trailer sites. The one we are in was to be tent only. But Recreation.gov got a few errors and we ended up here. But the 560 fit great. I think the campground only has 20 or 21 sites. There are several other campgrounds in the area that looked as nice.

Well, seems I was looking at the Forest Service web page which says "no reservations". I see now on rec.gov they do book reservations. That's good to know. I go up there every year at least once.

Do you recall which campsite you had?

We were in #19. Four Jeffery’s has more camp sires but only a few that were as nice. We thought the ones in the teens seemed nicer than the ones in the middle of the campground

Thanks. That’s good to know. I know the area but obviously not all the campsites.
