Re: Dometic CFX-35US Sale
According to this:
http://marine.dometicgroup.com/en/products/compressor_coolers_6861.php , and make sure it's product overview "CFX 35" in the pull-down on the right.
In mm, it's (without handles)
630mm wide (putting that through a conversion): 24.8 "
398mm deep : 15.67"
411mm high : 16.18"
I measured my space (on a 550) and it's 24 1/4" wide; which is about 616mm
630-616 = 14, so about 14mm (.55") -- I don't think it will fit. But someone will need to actually test fit to confirm.
For comparison, the older model dometic I have, with a cooler cozy on it (I didn't take it off to measure), it's "about" 23.5" wide, 15.2" deep, 17" tall. (remember that's with a cover, it's not exact measurements)
So Depth/Height should be fine; but based on those measurements, width-wise it won't fit.
Even if it doesn't fit exactly, I wouldn't despair.
I know quite a few people have their fridge in the back of their tow vehicle for several reasons, like... 1) if you are traveling through hot locations, your car is air conditioned (usually) and the tear isn't--why make the fridge work harder than it needs to (Towbert, looks like you are in AZ, so I think this would be you.) 2) if stopping for a quick lunch/snacks, it's still easier to grab stuff from the car than to open up the galley. 3) if stocking up on perishables, easier to fill it in the car. 4) so... you aren't camping this week at all. Instead of grocery shopping as the last stop--you can put your milk, etc in the fridge and do other errands before heading home.
Whatever space you lose in the tow vehicle for "stuff"; you instead carry that in the cooler space in the galley. A couple of bins in that space work wonderfully.
But... remember I'm just measuring based on on-line dimensions. It may not be reality.
