I have been watching this forum since the beginning of this year since we knew we wanted to get a campinn. In all that time I have only seen a couple of used trailers posted.

Before now, I was never ready to purchase as I needed to free up some money. Now as I get ready to order, request the quote from campinn and about to place the order, 3 560s get posted for sale making the decision process so much more difficult. And everytime I think I have a decision made to place the order, another comes along with just a little more features to make me rethink my decision.

Why must this be so hard?
 
I was in the same position 18 months ago and we bounced back and forth trying to make up our minds about used or new. The thing that impressed me about CI owners is they all value their investment and take very good care of their campers. My wife would say I have become come somewhat obsessive about my decision and compulsive when it comes to buying stuff for it/us. We looked at a few previously occupied trailers and actually bid on a couple which we didn't get. I had decided it was gong to be either a good deal or no deal with a previously owned CI. Like you we had a plan and a timeline which we told ourselves we would stick to. In short I think we were just meant to order a new trailer the way we wanted it. After our trip to CI to meet Cary and Co. we are glad we did. There was no doubt in our mind it was just meant to be this way. Our 560 Ultra won't be ready until May 2015, we could actually get it earlier but our plan was May 2015. I have told myself during this process it would be fine and work out the right way. And yet 1 more just posted...man the 560s are coming out of the woodwork these past 4 days.

I almost wonder if someone is trying to send me a message. LOL

I KNOW how you feel.......sort of.
I only decided to even investigate a "tear drop" camper about 30 days ago. Hadn't EVER even looked at anything like them before.

Thanks to this amazing information age, I was able to discover very quickly what is available and who builds the really good stuff. And thus, I ended up looking at this forum.

Like you, I found the "for sale" section to be sparsely populated. So i JUMPED at the 550 Ultra last week that was still available. Drove 3400 miles to snatch it too!

Got home yesterday. Logged in to let folks know how happy I am with a 9 year old beauty. :)

What do i find? Suddenly there are several 560 Ultras available!

Well, good luck with your decision.But let me encourage you with this:
It doesn't matter which one you get. new-used-550-560.......
They are the most amazing package to actually travel with. And they are so well designed and built, that it is almost impossible to not get a great outcome.
