Sighting CI Sightings on the web.

I was going to guess Chet and Susan (they do an annual trip every year), but when I saw it was a 550, it couldn't be them.

Hi, my wife Ann and I were at Harris in Sep on our way to the Redwoods in Humbolt county, Calif. We stayed 3 nights there. Our camp at Harris was just south of the restroom and playgound. We own a CI 550 and a silver Toyota 4 runner. You may have seen our rig. - Lou
ps. this was my wife's maiden experience with the CI. She said it was OK, but 3 nights is her limit.

My wife's main complaint is the lack of a toilet. She does not like getting up at night and walking thru a dark
campground to get to the restrooms. She prefers a hotel or motel. We spent last weekend on the Oregon coast at
Tolavana Inn and had a great 3 nights and 4 days. Of course it cost over $800. But the cost of a CI trailer could pay
for a lot of nights in a hotel. So it boils down to what you like. A camp inn can take you off road, away from crowds.

For a might less than $800, you could get a side tent, and a camp toilet that would fit inside of it on her side of CI for those late night callings.:)

Yup. What he said! The campinn side tent is great and the ARB awning room is a thing as well as bunches of tents that attach to the side or sit to the side.

Depending on your tow vehicle, but since I started using my service van / cargo van for the bulk of my travel with the camper. Mine doesn't have windows, so its super easy! IT does take some stooping in preparation...but we all get dressed doing 'the worm' so its just another activity to promote using muscles normally not used.

My next van will be a sprinter or transit "high top" that much I can assure.

As long as your rwindows are tinted and the lights are off its private even if you have windows. This also applies to tents...a sillouette is cast if lights are on inside a tent as well.

Same situation here - must have the porti room.

We use the side tent for more than a day stays. I have a 23zero shower tent on the travel vehicle that serves as a bathroom for quick overnight stops. The side tent sets up in about 15-20 minutes where the shower tent on the TV is about 3 minutes
