Christmas.What did you ask for camping related..

For Adrianne: 2 Progressive Prepworks collapsible dish tubs - holy cow! why are these so expensive? I forgot to bring wash tubs on our last trip so now I have something that I won't forget because they fit in my under-counter bins.

For Tim: an SLR camera - he spent more time futzting around with the functions on his point-and-shoot camera and he still couldn't get it do what he wanted.

For the Growler Prowler: Hypervent under-mattress pad.
 
This may be the first Christmas since we bought the trailer that I haven't bought something for my wife for the trailer....

I may have to come up with something

All those ideas are fantastic and - let's face it - any camping gal would appreciate those handy little gadgets that make chores so much easier along that long and winding road.


But diamonds are a girl's best friends.


Or rubies...pearls (South Seas, please)...emeralds - ooo, yeah! A nice, fat, 5 karat table cut, deep clear green with that streak of elusive blue...

nah, my lady would prefer two weeks camping to any diamond or emerald

Our son gave us light-up tent pegs, perfect for those canopy guy lines that are just asking to be tripped over. They have a strobe mode that uses very little battery, just blinks every few seconds to remind you they are there.

I definitely need these. After a day of hiking, I am prone to tripping over things at the campsite....

Though that might be attributable to tequila.

Yes thanks, we buy like 10 at begining of season, as they go bad just toss them...they also add an glow to trailer at night and aid I. Finding our site on those late night bathroom runs...I put them out at home to charge the day or morning before we leave so they are charged ahead....
 
We have been witness to Jenn tripping over the guide lines - and that was the start of a beautiful friendship.
