Cape Canaveral, Florida ref Jenns launch pics

Just to add on to Jenn's night launch shots, here are some pictures of Meribeth, Benn and Carol at the same spot in Dec. Our night launches were cancelled but they agreed to to launch a nuclear sub from just across from the campground. The large crane you see is the same one in Jenn's pictures.

That is great that "they" worked with you and launched a sub for your enjoyment since the launch didn't go off.
They sound very accommodating. :grin:

I thought it was very nice of "them" even though the little red boat you see had a manned .50 cal machine gun. Actually i don't think they announce the comings and goings of the boats. Just lucky we happened to be taking a walk to the fishing pier and noticed all the activity. It was right at high tide and I understand the boats have to come in and out then because of their draft. Now I might sound very knowledgable about nuclear subs but I had an expert with me who told me all this stuff. He might pipe in and fill in the blanks......
