campground noise

Hi everyone,

We just got back from tent camping in Glacier and we had some very noisy neighbors. My wife and I were wondering just how much quieter it will be in a 560? I would think a little with the hard sides but if the vent, skylight and door vents are open is a teardrop/raindrop really any quieter inside than a tent when you have noisy neighbors?

Cheers,
Greg and Lyubov Bruna

If you run the roof vent, it will drown out quite a bit of nearby noise. It's helped us out on the 1 occasion we had noisy people nearby since we've had ours.

Greg and Lyubov,
Last memorial day my wife and I were in our 550 and we had children and grandchildren in tents. We found out that morning they had words with the neighbors about 1:00 am. I guess the hard sides can help. My wife slept without issue. I wear earplugs every night. I am a very light sleeper. I have joking said a dog could bark in Bolivia and before it was over I would be wondering what woke me up. Also there is a TV and where we are the AC will likely run on most summer nights.
